Your bowel-prep countdown

The prep, not the camera, is the hard part of a colonoscopy, and it goes far better with a plan. Enter your procedure date and time to get a personal, dated countdown. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.

When is your colonoscopy?

Use the date and arrival time on your appointment letter. If you only know morning or afternoon, pick 09:00 or 14:00 and confirm later.

Enter your date and time, then choose Build my countdown to see your dated plan here.

Why the prep is worth doing properly

A colonoscopy can only find what it can see. When the bowel is genuinely clean, small polyps stand out and can be removed on the spot, which is precisely how colonoscopy prevents bowel cancer rather than merely detecting it. When the prep is incomplete, the examination takes longer, small findings can hide, and sometimes the whole test has to be repeated, prep and all.

Nobody enjoys prep day. But it is one day, it has a plan, and every glass of clear fluid you get down is a direct investment in a shorter, clearer, once-only procedure.
